Modeling and Experimental Characterization of a Clutch Control Strategy Using a Magnetorheological Fluid

In this paper, the characterization of a new clutch control strategy by means magnetorheological fluid (MR) has been investigated. The system was designed and manufactured in laboratory order to determine its static dynamic characteristics. As result experimental measurements, torque developed MR determined frequency time domains, as were analytical relationships describing connection between controlled variables. obtained results demonstrate that models are good agreement with data, an overall error about 7%.
